tekgeekster's Notes

Devil Daggers makes heavy use of strafe jumping. I set up the right stick with a dual stage mode specifically to capitalize on that. The inner ring described in the config is traditional camera aiming. This is useful for strafe hopping. Try combining moving left and right on the d-pad while simultaneously steering left and right in the inner ring of the stick.
I assigned the outer ring to flick stick to make quick turns to face targets. It activates halfway into the sticks threshold, and normal aiming will not activate until the right stick returns to center/neutral position. Practice with this style of stick aiming in a less stressful game first.

How to Use this Config

Using JoyShockMapper configurations is easy once you know how. If you haven't used it before, check out the guide. For using a community config like this one, you only need to get through the first two sections — Installing JSM and Using an already-made configuration file.

Just copy the above configuration into a text file, change the IN_GAME_SENS to match your in-game settings, and then drag that file into JoyShockMapper and hit Enter to use it right away. Some games have their own limitations with certain controllers or require some extra setup, so make sure to check for any notes near top of the main Devil Daggers page.
