Neophy's Notes

In this config the L and R or L1 and R1, are used for special functions instead of the usual Stealth and Armor mode, the reason is that i find more confortable to use L/L1 to disable the gyro (Reset the 3D mouse) instead of the usual East face button. The "CAPTURE" button or the "click touchpad" in the DS4, is repurposed as a regular button instead of being used fo calibration, the "HOME/PS button" is left for calibration. For the nanosuit modes, especially the stealth and armor modes i have the default option for R,S and R,W, but this can be easilly changed to an optional config by adding the # symbol to each of the 3 default combinations (including "select grenades" with R,ZL) and deleting the # at the start of each of the 3 optional configs. While in paper the use of the triggers in secondary mode sounds and feels great for the nanosuit modes, however in practice it becomes hard to use modes and shot/aim at the same time, something that is needed in game.

How to Use this Config

Using JoyShockMapper configurations is easy once you know how. If you haven't used it before, check out the guide. For using a community config like this one, you only need to get through the first two sections — Installing JSM and Using an already-made configuration file.

Just copy the above configuration into a text file, change the IN_GAME_SENS to match your in-game settings, and then drag that file into JoyShockMapper and hit Enter to use it right away. Some games have their own limitations with certain controllers or require some extra setup, so make sure to check for any notes near top of the main Crysis 3 page.
